๐Ÿ”ง Scope of Work

Bathtub Reglazing Toronto provides professional surface refinishing and reglazing services, including:

  • Bathtub refinishing

  • Bathtub reglazing

  • Tile reglazing

  • Sink refinishing

  • Shower refinishing

  • Bathroom surface resurfacing

  • Minor cosmetic surface repairs

Our services are primarily cosmetic in nature. Reglazing refinishes the existing surface and does not replace the bathtub, tile, shower, sink, plumbing, or underlying structure.

Reglazing may improve the appearance and usability of an existing surface, but it cannot correct underlying structural, plumbing, or foundation problems.

๐Ÿ“… Booking & Cancellations

Appointments are confirmed after the client approves the service and a suitable date and time has been agreed upon.

Clients should provide accurate contact and service-address information when booking.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment whenever possible.

Late cancellations, missed appointments, or repeated rescheduling may be subject to applicable service or scheduling charges where disclosed before booking.

๐Ÿงผ Client Responsibilities

Before our technician arrives, the client is responsible for:

  • Clearing the work area and providing reasonable access to the surface being refinished

  • Removing personal items, toiletries, rugs, shower curtains, and other belongings from the work area

  • Providing reasonable access to electricity and running water where required

  • Ensuring appropriate ventilation is available

  • Informing us of any known damage, leaks, cracks, plumbing issues, previous repairs, or coatings

  • Keeping children, pets, and other individuals away from the work area during the application process

Our refinishing process may involve professional coatings and application fumes. Clients should follow all aftercare and ventilation instructions provided by our technicians.

The refinished area should not be used until the recommended curing period has passed. Depending on the product, environmental conditions, and scope of work, this may generally be 12โ€“24 hours or as otherwise instructed by our technician.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Finish Texture & Surface Feel

Our standard refinishing finish is designed to provide a smooth, clean, and high-gloss appearance unless otherwise specified.

Anti-slip texture or coating is not automatically applied.

Anti-slip treatment may be added upon request and may result in a lightly textured surface that feels different from a factory-smooth bathtub or tile surface.

Clients requesting an anti-slip finish acknowledge that the texture and appearance may differ from a standard smooth finish.

Product details: Please contact us for information about the specific products and coatings used for your project.

๐Ÿงพ Warranty Coverage

Where a warranty is provided for a specific service, the applicable warranty period and terms will be stated on the client’s invoice, estimate, or service documentation.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, warranty coverage applies only to workmanship-related issues under normal residential use.

Warranty coverage may be void or excluded where damage or failure results from:

  • Suction-cup bath mats or suction devices

  • Harsh, abrasive, or incompatible cleaning chemicals

  • Abrasive cleaning pads or tools

  • Physical damage, chips, cracks, or heavy impact

  • Improper use or misuse of the refinished surface

  • Excessive moisture or water exposure caused by unresolved leaks

  • Structural movement or underlying substrate problems

  • Repairs, modifications, or alterations performed by other contractors or unauthorized persons

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, and damage caused by improper maintenance are not considered workmanship defects.

๐Ÿงช Product & Material Safety

We use professional-grade refinishing products and coatings selected for bathtub, tile, sink, shower, and bathroom surface applications.

Product characteristics, application requirements, curing times, ventilation requirements, and safety precautions may vary depending on the specific product used.

Clients should follow all safety, ventilation, and aftercare instructions provided by our technicians.

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for applicable products may be available upon request.

Product details: Please contact us if you would like information about the specific coating or materials used for your project.

๐Ÿ“ธ Photos, Reviews & Marketing

We may take before-and-after photographs of completed work for quality assurance, documentation, training, portfolio development, and marketing purposes.

We will make reasonable efforts to avoid including personally identifiable information, personal documents, or private tenant information in publicly shared photographs.

If a photograph contains identifiable personal information or a person’s identifiable likeness, we will seek appropriate permission before using it publicly where required.

After completing a service, we may contact you to request feedback, testimonials, or an online review.

โš–๏ธ Legal Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Bathtub Reglazing Toronto is not responsible for pre-existing structural, plumbing, moisture, foundation, or substrate problems that are unrelated to the refinishing work.

Cosmetic refinishing cannot correct or permanently resolve:

  • Deep structural cracks

  • Plumbing problems

  • Active leaks

  • Structural movement

  • Foundation issues

  • Severe substrate deterioration

  • Problems caused by improper installation or previous repairs

Where an issue is caused by conditions outside the scope of our work, additional repair or replacement may be recommended.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any liability arising directly from a service complaint will be limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, or, where appropriate, a reasonable corrective repair at our discretion.
